What are the filters for choosing startups to advise? What are the criteria that you personally use? What are your terms? How do we know if we should approach you or not?

That’s a lot of questions, so one by one

1.  My biggest filter while choosing startups to advise is the team. Consulting with startups is a challenging, unpredictable process. I will only work with people I respect and like.

2. My second filter is the presence of an institutional investor. This is not set in stone but it helps if there has been a round of due diligence. This becomes important in the light of the fact that often I am swapping equity for services.

3. You can approach me any time. I am always willing to give you some succinct but straight-talking advice about your brand.
